Abstract
17,669. Hosegood, F. W. Sept. 1. Perambulators; ambulance vehicles.-In folding perambulators and ambulance and like vehicles, the wheels c, d, Fig. 3, on each side of the vehicle are mounted on the underframe e, which supports the sides a, b by springs f. The frame e is connected at its ends by pivoted rods h, h<1>, and the ends k, k<1>, Fig. 4, are pivoted to the sides a, b. The vehicle is kept rigid when in use by the seat m, which may be hinged at m<1>, m<2> to the side a, and carries by links s a pivoted well p. When the vehicle is to be folded, the well is folded against the seat and the latter raised on its hinges, or removed, when the two sides will be free to be brought together.
