Folding vehicles. - In baby carriages which can be folded so that the sides are brought close together, the seat and the footboard are each in two parts hinged together so as to enable them to be folded. The seat 11<1>, 11<2> and footboard 17<1>, 17<2> are hinged to fold upwardly as shown in Fig. 4, and the side frames comprise crossbars pivoted at 5. The shafts 1', 1<2> are connected by a removable bar 2 and are connected to the cross-bars by locks 30'. The wheels are carried by the crossbars on stub axles and the cross-bars are corinected by cross-rods 20<1>, 20<2> pivoted at 21. To fold the vehicle the bars 2 and locks 30<1> are released and pressure on the shafts causes the sides to approach one another, the seat and footboard hinging up as shown and also causes the frame to descend and the wheels to recede from one another.
