Abstract

306,989. Lines, W. Nov. 30, 1027. Folding vehicles.-A folding baby carriage comprises upper and lower frames connected by a scissors mechanism which is operated by movement of the handle. As shown, a lower frame comprises longitudinal bars 2 mounted on the wheels and provided with seats and a well 4 while the upper frame comprises bars 5 carrying a fabric body 6. The frames are interconnected by scissors arms 7, 8 as shown, which are operated by the movement of the handle 14 through links 16. A toggle link 19 connects the scissors arms with the handle to lock the baby carriage in the operative position.
