Abstract

Folding vehicles. - Baby carriages &c. comprise two wheeled frames a, b pivoted together at c, the frame a being pivoted to the seat d at f at which point the handle frame e is also pivoted. The frame b is connected to the handle frame e by toggle links g, the lower one of which is also pivoted to the seat d at h<3>. The back j is pivoted to the handle frame e by means of brackets k and is adjustable in inclination. The foot rest m is pivoted to the seats d as are also supports n for the arms r, the supports n being extended downwards to provide slots t with which engage supports s to vary the inclination of the foot rest m.
