Abstract

A folding push chair for a child has a main tubular frame in the form of a rectangle in the normal position of use, the top (4) forming the handles, the bottom (5) fitted with a footrest (32) and with central pivots (34). A single flexible sheet (30) to carry the child is attached to two sub frames, the first (11) approx. vertical and the second (22) approx. horizontal attached to the main frame by pivots (19, 29) respectively, to form a triangle, the wheels (6) being attached at the third pivot point i.e. the axle (8). To fold the frame, the main frame is folded backwards on itself so that the sub frames swing towards one another.
