Abstract

A baby's folding pushchair comprises a hammock (1) suspended from two side members (2) linked at their front ends by a foldable stay (3) and supported by pivots (5, 6) on the folding frame of the pushchair, the pivots (5) being carried on stays (20) which are foldable to bring the hammock (1) from the lying to the sitting position. The stay (3) is folded by drawing the pivot (4) rearwards. The stay (3) serves as a footrest for the child when in the sitting position. The stays (20) are each connected to a block (11) pivotally connecting the tubes (9, 10) together. The handles (18) are also pivoted to the blocks (11). In the sitting position, the two side members (2) rest on stops (22) on the inner sides of the blocks (21).
