Seat attachments.-A combined luggage-carrier and seat of the type consisting of a box having a hinged lid a and a hinged side d, adapted to be opened out when the device is used as a seat, is provided with a separate bar or strip h adapted to be suspended by means of links i, chains, cords, &c. to serve as a foot-rest, and to be placed inside or folded outside the box when not required for use. The box is secured to the carrier or frame of the cycle by means of clips, clamping- plates, &c. and intermediate springs or resilient members. The height of the foot-rest may be adjusted by means of a series of holes or slots in the vertical supporting-members.
