[Class 52 (ii).] A box or light luggage carrier convertible intc a seat has the lid 2 attached tc the body 1 solely by a pair of pivoted stays 3 and adapted to be held in either of its position! of use by the engagement of teeth 4 thereon with notches 5 or 5<1> in the body of the box. Fig. 1 shows the device in use as a seat, and Fig. 2 as a luggage carrier. Folding legs may be fitted to the inside of the box. Specifications 26136/13 and 203,056, [both in Class 52 (ii), Furniture for sitting &c. upon], are referred to.
