Abstract
382,587. Trunks convertible into seats &c. PFEIL, C., 13A, Magazinstrasse, Berlin. June 15, 1932, No. 16934. Convention date, June 15, 1931. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iii).] A trunk is fitted with a false bottom in which are stowed hinged legs adapted to be opened out so as to enable the trunk to be used as a seat or table. Fig. 2 shows in section a trunk with a false bottom 1 and a hinged bottom 1a, and between them two flat leg members 2, 2a attached to reinforcing bars 2b pivoted to the sides of the trunk. In the extended position the legs are stayed by channel-section clips 4 on strips 1b which reinforce the hinged bottom 1a.
