Abstract

217,037. Higgins, H. R. June 1, 1923. Invalids' tables.-In an easy chair &c. provided with a hinged shelf or table 8, the shelf is adapted to fold into a compartment 2 in the side 1 of the chair and to be covered by a hinged or detachable door 3 which completes the chair side. The door 3 may be provided with catches 10, and the shelf 8 may carry spring-controlled snap bolts 15 which automatically hold the shelf in its raised position, and which may be retracted by a wire 17 when the shelf is to be lowered.
