Abstract

775,505. Luggage carriers. WHISTON, J. L., and BLAND, P., [trading as WHISTON & CO., L.]. April 21, 1955 [Dec. 29, 1954], No. 37552/54. Class 136(1). A cycle carrier comprises a main frame 10 provided with two tubular elements 12 in which rods 14 formed on an auxiliary frame 13 are slidably engaged. A series of apertures are formed in the rods 14 and tubes 12 to allow a locking pin 15 to be introduced. The frame 10 is provided with depending brackets 11, Fig. 3, for the attachment of carrier supporting means and tubular loops 17 to facilitate the connection of load securing straps. An upstanding guard rail 16 is formed ou the frame 10.
