Abstract

The mounting device includes a slide rail (21) fastened to a frame (2) by supports (23,25). There is an L-shaped piece (22) fastened to the rail and a locking device (24) fastened to the frame or the first support. A sliding flange (30) has an inverted U- shaped part (31) hung on the rail. An insert (32) slides in the L- shaped piece and a retaining part (33) engages with the locking component synchronously with the sliding of the insert.

DEVICE FOR MOUNTING A RECEPTACLE FOR A VEHICLE
TWO WHEELS
The present invention relates to a device for mounting a receptacle, fitted to a two-wheeled vehicle.

 A two-wheeled vehicle has no area for receiving objects, or even if there is such a receiving area, it is sometimes necessary to provide a support, a basket or a bag, separately, because of the small volume. inside the receiving area. In this context, as a device for mounting a receptacle for a two-wheeled vehicle, it has for example been proposed a "bag-mounting device for a two-wheeled vehicle" described in the Japanese utility model n "Sho 57-85383, subject to public inspection. In this device, as illustrated in FIG. 2 of said document published without examination, fastening systems 8 and 10 are mounted on the side of the chassis of the vehicle and a bag 16, shown in FIG. 4, is removably attached to said systems 8 and 10.

 In the aforementioned conventional device, as illustrated in FIG. 4, it is necessary that fastening systems 19 and 20 are previously attached to the bag 16. Consequently, said bag 16 represents a specific limited container and is not required. '' easy to use. It is difficult to place there a relatively bulky object such as a travel bag or a sleeping bag, or else a long object such as a fishing rod or a bat. In these circumstances, the driver experiences discomfort in various everyday aspects.

 The object of the present invention is to provide a device for mounting a receptacle which, intended for a two-wheeled vehicle, is easier to use.

 According to the invention, in order to achieve the abovementioned object, the device for mounting a receptacle, intended for a two-wheeled vehicle, comprises a slide which is essentially horizontal, attached to one side of the chassis of the vehicle by through a medium; a part configured in L, attached to one of the extreme regions of said slide, and a locking element attached to the side of the chassis of the vehicle, or to said support; and a sliding flange, said sliding flange comprising an inverted U-shaped part, designed to be suspended from said slide, an insertion part intended to slide into said L-shaped part, thereby limiting its upward movement, and a part retainer which engages said locking member in synchronism with the sliding movement of said insertion portion.

 The U-shaped part, suspended from the slide, is authorized to slide in such a way that the L-shaped part enters by sliding into the insertion part and is stopped by the latter, and the retaining part is locked by element of locking, so that the sliding clamp is secured to the side of the vehicle chassis.

 In the device according to the invention, the sliding flange can advantageously be fitted with embedding notches for receiving studs, said studs being respectively provided on the anterior and posterior sides of a bag, to allow the em housing dune strap or the like.

 It is possible to use a commercially available bag having tenons for fitting a strap or the like.

 In the device according to the invention, the embedding notches are preferably made at an angle, to prevent the bag from being pulled straight up.

 Because the embedding notches are inclined, it is not to be feared that the bag will be released plumb upwards, which makes it easy to achieve theft prevention.

 In the device according to 1 invention, the sliding flange can be provided with a frame configured in L, and a fixing cord, both intended for the permanent deposit of a rectangular receptacle.

 A rectangular receptacle is then fixed to the sliding flange by placing it on the frame configured in L, then immobilizing it with the fixing cord.

 In the device according to the invention, the frame configured in L is preferably a deployable and retractable frame.

 One of the ends of the deployable and retractable lateral framing zone penetrates into a hollow region of the fixed lateral framing zone, thereby adjusting the dimension of the framing according to the size of a receptacle to be mounted.

 In the device according to 1 invention, the sliding flange can preferably be provided with an elongated cylinder designed for the insertion of a long object, such as a fishing rod or a bat for example.

 It is possible to insert a long object, such as a fishing rod or a bat, into the elongated cylinder.

 In the device according to 1 invention, the sliding flange advantageously comprises a rigid case, a metal part provided with the inverted U-shaped part and the insertion part, and a metal part provided with the retaining part, the two metal parts. being preferably mounted in one piece on said rigid case.

 The rigid case can be removably attached to the side of the vehicle chassis. This is convenient since small objects can then be freely inserted into and removed from said case.

 In the device according to the invention, the sliding flange preferably comprises a transport basket, a metal part provided with the inverted U-shaped part and the insertion part, and a metal part provided with the retaining part. , the two metal parts being advantageously mounted in one piece on said transport basket.

 The transport basket can be releasably attached to the side of the vehicle chassis. This is convenient since small objects can then be freely placed up and down in said basket, and removed therefrom.

 It will be assumed that the drawings are observed in the directions of the numerical references.

 Figure 1 is a side elevation of a two-wheeled motor vehicle to which the present invention is applied. In this figure, the two-wheeled motorized vehicle, designated by 1, comprises a handlebar stirrup 4 and front forks 5 mounted one and the other, deflectably, on a front pipe 3 placed at the front end a frame 2; a front wheel 6 mounted on the forks 5; a motor 7 mounted on a lower region of the central part of the frame 2; a fuel tank 8 and a seat 9 both mounted on an upper part of said frame 2; swing arms 11 extending rearwardly from a central region of the lower part of said frame 2; a rear wheel 12 secured to the rear regions of said arms 11; a chain 14 driven on a rear sprocket 13 of the rear wheel 12; a toe clip 15 mounted in the center of the lower part of the frame 2; and a device 17 for mounting a receptacle, fitted to the vehicle and attached to the rear part of the frame 2.

 FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a device for mounting a receptacle, intended for a two-wheeled vehicle and in accordance with the present invention (first embodiment). Said device, designated by 17, comprises a support element 20 fixed to the left side of the frame 2; a sliding flange 30 suspended from said element 20; a protective part 41 suspended on said flange 30, overlapping; and a bag 45 intended to be retained on said flange 30. The terms and expressions "right", "left", "anterior" and "posterior", used in the present specification, refer to the respective directions with respect to the conductor .

 The support element 20 comprises a part 22 configured in an L shape and a first support 23 both mounted on one of the end regions of a slide 21; a locking element 24 attached to the lower part of the first support 23; and a second support 25 fixed to the opposite extreme region of the slide 21.

Via the supports 23 and 25, the element 20 is fixed to the left side of the vehicle chassis. The reference numerals 23a, 23b and 25a designate locking bolts of said element 20. The reference numerals 26, 27 and 28 are assigned to resin plates, intended to protect the bag 45. A polyurethane resin, endowed with elasticity rubber, is advantageous as a material constituting said pads. The reference numeral 29 ... (the ellipses indicate an element in several copies, also in the remainder of the description) designates a locking screw for the locking element 24.

The support element 20 fixed to the left side of the vehicle chassis is, in principle, not removed.

The sliding flange 30 comprises a part 31 in
U inverted, designed to be suspended from the slide 21; an insertion part 32 (materialized by the anterior extreme region of said part 31) intended to penetrate, by sliding, in the gap situated between the slide 21 and the part 22 configured in L, in order to limit an upward movement of the flange 30; a retaining part 33 engaging with the locking element 24, in synchronism with the sliding movement of said insertion part 32; and recessing slots 34 arranged obliquely on both sides of the part 31 in inverted U, to engage with the bag 45. The reference numerals 35 and 36 relate to resin plates ensuring the protection of the bag 45, which plates are made of a polyurethane resin endowed with the elasticity of rubber.

 The protective part 41 comprises a part 42 in inverted U, intended to be suspended astride the part 31 in inverted U, and a flat part 43 extending below said part 42, to protect the bag 45. The reference numerals 44 relate to ribs intended to increase the rigidity of the flat part 43. Although the protective part 41 can be assembled and disassembled, in this embodiment, it can be formed in one piece with the flange sliding 30.

 The bag 45 comprises a receiving part 46 for receiving objects, and studs 47 (the rear stud is not illustrated) formed on the front and rear sides of said part 46, for the housing of a strap or element similar. The recessing notches 34 are made in order to admit the pins 47.

 FIG. 3, which is a side elevation of the device 17 for mounting a receptacle according to the present embodiment, shows a situation in which the inverted U-shaped portion 31 of the sliding flange 30 is adjusted on the slide 21 of the support element 20 and in which, in addition, the inverted U-shaped part 42 of the protective part 41 covers said inverted U-shaped part 31, the insertion part 32 is authorized to slide into the part 22 configured in L , and the retaining part 33 is locked by the locking element 24. To facilitate the explanation, the bag 45 is shown in phantom.

 Figure 4 is a view seen in the direction of arrow 4 in Figure 3. In the device 17 for mounting a receptacle illustrated in Figure 4, the first support 23 and the second support 25 are fixed to the frame 2 to using the locking bolts 23a and 25a, and said first support 23 is also fixed to the clip 15 by the locking bolt 23b.

 The bag 45 is attached to the motorized vehicle 1 with two wheels by engaging the studs 47 (the front stud is not illustrated) in the recessing notches 34 (the front notch is not shown) of the sliding flange 30 .

 Figures 5a and 5b are first explanatory diagrams showing an installation mode of the device for mounting a receptacle according to this embodiment.

 In FIG. 5a, the sliding flange 30 and the protective part 41 are first of all suspended from the slide 21. Next, the part 31 in inverted U of said flange 30 and the part 42 in inverted U of said part 41 are jointly animated by a pivoting around said slide 21, counterclockwise by considering the figure, as symbolized by an arrow Q. Openings 34a of the recessing notches 34 are oriented precisely upwards and, in this condition, the bag 45 is lowered from the exactly overlying area (arrow0), which allows the pins 47 to be placed in said notches 34.

 In FIG. 5b, the sliding flange 30 and the protective part 41 are driven in a clockwise pivot considering the figure, thus allowing the upper region (overhanging the pins 47) of the bag 45 to come slightly in abutment against the resin plate 26 (cf. FIG. 3) subject to the first support 23, and against the resin plate 27 subject to the second support 25, which ensures the mounting of said bag 45.

 FIGS. 6a and 6b are second explanatory diagrams illustrating the mode of installation of the device for mounting a receptacle according to this embodiment.

In Figure 6a, after mounting the bag 45, a forward thrust applied to the sliding flange 30, as indicated by an arrow @ Q, has the effect of moving the part 31 in an inverted U in the direction of the part 22 configured in L, with simultaneous sliding on the slide 21, and of engaging the insertion part 32 between said slide 21 and said part 22. Now, the part 31 no longer deviates from the slide 21, upwards, so that the flange 30 can be stopped on the support element 20. At the same time, the retaining part 33 also moves to its locked position, as symbolized by an arrow
In FIG. 6b, a metal part of the locking element 24 is pulled to the right considering the figure, in the direction of an opening. The metal part of said element 24 is engaged with a region 33a configured as a U on the retaining part 33, then is pushed forward as symbolized by an arrow (5), which causes it to close. The sliding flange 30 is held in abutment against the part 22 configured in L (cf. FIG. 6a) and against the plate 28 in resin (cf. FIG. 6a and FIG. 2). Said flange 30 and the bag 45 are permanently locked by blocking the locking element 24 using a key (not shown).

 It is not to be feared that the sliding flange 30 rips backwards, away from the part 22 configured in an L shape, since it is blocked by the locking element 24. Similarly, it is unlikely that said flange 30 pivots around the slide 21, because the retaining part 33 is held between the first support 23 and said element 24.

 Thus, it is not to be feared that the bag 45 may be offset following vibrations during the movement of the vehicle.

 Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 4, the bag 45 is pushed and fixed to the resin plates 26 and 27 by means of the embedding notches 34. When an attempt is made to extract said bag 45 vertically towards at the top, the pins 47 interfere with said notches 34 which are made obliquely, so that the bag 45 cannot be extracted. Theft of said bag 45 is therefore not to be feared. The bag 45 can be opened and closed while remaining attached to the left side of the vehicle chassis.

 The bag 45 and the sliding flange 30 can be removed by a procedure opposite to the assembly procedure.

 It is now necessary to describe second to sixth embodiments of the present invention, with reference to FIGS. 7 to 11 in which the structural features, identical to those of the first embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2, are indicated by the same reference numerals as in the first embodiment, and are not the subject of a comment.

 Figure 7 is a perspective view of a device for mounting a receptacle according to the present invention (second embodiment), intended for a two-wheeled vehicle. This device according to the second embodiment, designated by 50, comprises a sliding flange 51 designed to be suspended from the support element 20 (cf. FIG. 2); a frame 53 configured in L, attached to the two ends of said flange 51; and fixing ropes 54 subject to said frame 53.

 As in the preceding embodiment, the sliding flange 51 is fixed to the support element 20, a rectangular receptacle 55 being retained on the frame 53 configured in L, then immobilized by the fixing ropes 54. In this way , it is possible to carry a receptacle, a satchel or similar container of rectangular shape, of a dimension certainly strong.

 Figure 8 is a perspective view of a device for mounting a receptacle according to the present invention (third embodiment), intended for a two-wheeled vehicle. The device according to this third embodiment, designated by 60, comprises a sliding flange 61 to be suspended from the support element 20 (cf. FIG. 2), and an elongated cylinder 63 locked on said flange 61 by fixing collars 62.

 As the elongated cylinder 63 is attached to the sliding flange 61, it is possible to insert and carry, in said cylinder 63, a long object such as a fishing rod or a bat.

 Figure 9 is a perspective view of a device for mounting a receptacle according to the present invention (fourth embodiment), intended for a two-wheeled vehicle. In the mounting device according to this fourth embodiment, designated by 70, a sliding flange 71 comprises a metal part 74 fixed to an upper region of the rear face 73 of a rigid case 72, said part 74 being provided with a part 31 in inverted U and an insertion part 32; and a metal piece 75 fixed to a lower region of the anterior end of said case 72.

 Because the metal parts 74 and 75 are directly attached to the rigid case 72, it is possible to dispense with the embedding notches 34 (cf. FIG. 2) and, consequently, to shorten the machining time of the sliding flange. In addition, said case 72 is easier to handle since it can be directly mounted on support element 20, and be removed therefrom.

 Figure 10 is a perspective view of a device for mounting a receptacle according to the present invention (fifth embodiment), intended for a two-wheeled vehicle. In the mounting device according to this fifth embodiment, designated by 80, a sliding flange 81 comprises a metal part 84 fixed to an upper region of the rear face 83 of a transport basket 82, said part 84 being provided a part 31 in inverted U and an insertion part 32; and a metal part 85 fixed to the front end of said basket 82, and provided with a retaining part 33.

 The transport basket 82 can carry an object having an undoubtedly great length and projecting upwards, such as a tennis racket or the like. In addition, said basket 82 is easier to handle because it can be directly attached to the support element 20, and be dissociated therefrom.

 Figure 11 is a perspective view of a device for mounting a receptacle according to the present invention (sixth embodiment), intended for a two-wheeled vehicle. In the mounting device 90 according to this sixth embodiment, a sliding flange 91 comprises a metal part 93 fixed to the upper region of a frame 92 configured in L, said part 93 being provided with a part 31 in U inverted and an insertion part 32; and a metal piece 94 fixed to the front end of said frame 92.

The latter consists of a deployable and retractable frame 95, attached to the lower end region of said frame so that it can be extracted and retracted in the transverse direction; and a deployable and retractable frame 96, attached to the rear end of said frame so that it can be extracted and retracted in the longitudinal direction. The reference numeral 97 ... designates locking screws of the chassis 95 and 96 in suitable positions. The reference 98 is assigned to a strap for fixing a receptacle.

 Given that the frames 95 and 96 are attached in a deployable and retractable manner (arrows O6 and S) to the frame 92 configured in L, a receptacle, having to be mounted, can be held in place by the two frames 95 and 96, after dimensional adjustment of the frame.

 Although the receptacle mounting devices, according to the foregoing embodiments, are attached to the left side of the vehicle chassis, they can be attached to the right side of the latter, or even to its two sides.

 Furthermore, the installation and removal structures of the foregoing embodiments are not limited to devices for mounting a receptacle intended for two-wheeled vehicles, but can be applied to various other devices.

 In addition, the studs are used to interlock a strap, a cord, a chain, a handle, a handle or similar small bodies.

The purpose of use and shape of said studs is not specifically limited.

 The above structural arrangements, in accordance with the present invention, provide the effects set out below.

 In the device for mounting a receptacle according to the invention, the sliding flange is suspended from the slide by its inverted U-shaped part, and is authorized to slide so that its insertion part penetrates, by sliding, into the L-shaped part in which it is fixed, and the retaining part is permanently locked in place by the locking element. Thus, a vertical or longitudinal movement or vibration of said sliding flange is not to be feared. The assembly and disassembly of a receptacle can be carried out without the use of any screws, so that they are very easy and convenient.

 According to the invention, the fact that the sliding flange has embedding notches capable of cooperating with tenons formed on the two front and rear sides of a bag, which tenons are assigned to the interlocking of a strap or of a similar element, the mounting device provides greater interchangeability of receptacles; for example, it allows the mounting of a commercially available bag, thus offering an economic advantage.

 According to the invention, since the embedding notches are made at an oblique angle, it is not to be feared that the bag will be pulled straight up. Theft prevention can thus be easily obtained, and it is also possible to prevent the bag from being released from the mounting device during the movement of the vehicle.

 According to the invention, the fact that the bottom of a rectangular receptacle is received by the horizontal region of the frame configured in L, and that the lateral faces of said receptacle are retained using a fixing cord , allows to carry a receptacle of rather substantial dimensions. This represents com modity.

 As the deployable and retractable frame can be adjusted to correspond to the size of a receptacle to be mounted, said receptacle can be retained by said deployable and retractable frame, from both the longitudinal and transverse sides. Therefore, the mounting device claimed in this case is easier to use.

 A long object can be easily carried by being inserted into the elongated cylinder. This turns out to be convenient.

 Since, in accordance with the invention, the sliding flange is formed integrally with a rigid case, said case can be mounted and dismounted more easily, and small objects can be carried using this case. This turns out to be convenient. In addition, thanks to the possibility of eliminating the embedding notches intended to come into engagement with a bag, the machining time can be reduced.

 Because the sliding flange is integral with a transport basket, not only does it become easier to assemble and disassemble said basket, but the use of the latter also makes it possible to carry an undoubtedly long object which protrudes towards the high, such as a tennis racket or the like.

 It goes without saying that numerous modifications can be made to the device described and shown, without departing from the scope of the invention.

- CLAIMS  1. Device (17) for mounting a receptacle, intended for a vehicle (1) with two wheels and characterized in that it comprises a slide (21) essentially horizontal, attached to one side of the chassis of the vehicle via a support (23, 25); a part (22) configured in L, attached to one of the end regions of said slide (21), and a locking element (24) attached to the side of the chassis of the vehicle, or to said support (23); and a sliding flange (30), said sliding flange comprising an inverted U-shaped part (31) adapted to be suspended from said slide (21), an insertion part (32) intended to slide into said part (22 ) configured in L, thereby limiting its upward movement, and a retaining part (33) which engages said locking element (24) in synchronism with the sliding movement of said insertion part (32).  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the sliding flange (30) is provided with embedding notches (34) for receiving studs (47), said studs (47) being respectively provided on anterior sides and rear of a bag (45), to allow the fitting of a strap or the like.  3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the recessing notches (34) are made obliquely, to prevent the bag (45) from being pulled straight up.  4. Device (50) according to claim 1, characterized in that the sliding flange (51) is provided with a frame (53) configured in L, and a fixing cord (54), intended for one and the other to permanently deposit a rectangular receptacle (55).  5. Device (90) according to claim 4, characterized in that the frame (92) configured in L is a deployable and retractable frame (95, 96).  6. Device (60) according to claim 1, characterized in that the sliding flange (61) is provided with an elongated cylinder (63) designed for the insertion of a long object, such as a fishing rod or a bat for example.  7. Device (70) according to claim 1, characterized in that the sliding flange (71) comprises a rigid case (72), a metal part (74) provided with the part (31) in inverted U and the part insert (32), and a metal part (75) provided with the retaining part (33), the two metal parts (74, 75) being integrally mounted on said rigid case (72).  8.
