Abstract
725,896. Gasifying finely divided fuels. KOPPERS GES., H. July 24, 1953 [July 25, 1952], No. 20625/53. Class 55(1). In gasifying finely divided fuels in suspension in oxygen or oxygen enriched air and possibly endothermic reacting media a metal gas withdrawal pipe 6 from the upper part of a reaction chamber of refractory material projects downwardly into the chamber and has a water &c. cooling jacket 7. Both are supported outside and independently of the chamber on carriers 8.
