847,618. Making combustible gas from gaseous hydrocarbons. COMPAGNIE GENERALE DE CONSTRUCTIONS DE FOURS. Jan. 9, 1957 [Jan. 30, 1956], No. 874/57. Addition to 781,370. Class 55 (2). Apparatus of the parent Specification is modified by the provision of slots 9b at the throat of the Venturi tube 5b through which gaseous hydrocarbons from line 8b and an annular chamber 16 are introduced into the reaction chamber 2b. Air is introduced through line 4b and a distributer 16 is supported by a rod 17 passing through the Venturi tube into an arm extending from the conduit 4b as shown.
