Class 82 (2) [Also in Group XXII] Apparatus for coating or welding by means of a metal powder as disclosed in Specification 707,228 is further characterized in that said apparatus comprises a torch having an inlet member comprising a body 10 for receiving and mixing a combustible gas and a gas for supporting combustion and provided with valves 13 and 14 for regulating the flow of the gases, an outlet member including a discharge nozzle 17 and an intermediate unit including an adapter 16 separable from the inlet and outlet members and formed with a duct 19 for the gas mixture, the intermediate unit also including means for supplying metal powder to the duct 19 from a hopper 30.
