624,066. Spraying fusible materials. ENKES N. V. June 9, 1947, No. 15092. Convention date, Feb. 21, 1942. [Class 69 (iii)] Metal powder spraying apparatus comprises a pistol having combustible gas and oxygen inlets 8, 8a, compressed air inlet 6 and metal powder inlet 7. The air conduit 3 communicates with chambers 14 and 16 supplying air for creating suction in the vacuum chamber 21, and also air for directing the molten metal powder from the nozzle 28 to the surface being worked. The powdered metal is conveyed by suction into the chamber 21, via conduit 4, by the action of the compressed air nozzle 20 and is thence conveyed by the compressed air into the venturi tube 23. U.S.A. Specification 1,781,603 is referred to.
