702,961. Firearms. BREVETS AERO-MECANIQUES SOC. ANON. Oct. 5, 1951 [Oct. 24, 1950]. No. 23264/51. Class 92(2) A self-loading fiream having a muzzle brake 2 is provided with a grenade launching extension 4 which is secured to the front end of the muzzle brake and which has a rear sleeve 7a fitting closely around the discharge ports 3 thereof. In the form shown, the extension is screwed to a support 9 which is screwed at 10 to the muzzle brake and which is connected to the sleeve 7a. In a modification the parts 4, 7a and 9 are cast in a single piece.
