In a multi-cylinder fuel-injection pump ir which the delivery is controlled by rotating each piston g to vary the opening of a spill port k, the sleeve d, for rotating each plunger is mounted on the pump barrel b and is provided with a hole so that a tool o can be inserted tc engage a shallow recess in the barrel to rotate it relatively to the plunger and thus adjust the output of the individual cylinder. After adjustment. the barrel b is clamped in position by the end fitting c which carries the discharge valve.
