Class 102 (ii) [Also in Group XXIX] In a liquid sprayer of the kind comprising a hand pump 42 for pumping air under pressure into a container 40 to raise liquid in a delivery tube 39 connecting, through a valve-controlled passage 14, with an outlet nozzle 35, the valve (see Group XXIX) consists of an elastic sleeve 16 closed at one end 17 to form a seating surface and formed at its other end with a clamping flange 19. It is opened and closed by a rod 25 connected to a trigger lever 30 having a locking catch as described in Specification 685,552.
