Class 126 [Also in Group XXIX] The rail for supplying gas to the burners of a gas cooker hot-plate is arranged so that the front wall thereof is flush with the cooker front frame, and the supply cocks are received in coaxial holes formed in the front and rear walls of the rail. In Fig. 1, the rail 10 is cast integral with the cooker front 15 with its front wall 10a flush therewith and its upper face 11 flush with the hot-plate 12. Coaxial holes 25, 26 are formed in the front and rear walls of the rail 10 to receive cock bodies 27 housing rotary conical plugs 34 and secured to the rail by spigots 30. In a modification, the rail is cast separate from the cooker front and secured by screws to an upstanding flange of the cooker front. In the case where the cooker front is formed from sheet steel, the rail is formed by welding an angle section 21, Fig. 2, at 43, 42 to the front and top faces respectively of the cooker front. The cock bodies 27 may then be replaced by cock bodies 27a screwed into the rail 10.
