Abstract

1,119,841. Gas burners. STOVES Ltd. 12 Jan., 1966 [12 Jan., 1965], No. 1284/65. Heading F4F. Gas for a main burner pilot flame is supplied through a pipe 10 to an enclosed chamber 11 which houses a filter 21 and a metering nozzle 20 and from which chamber the gas passes through narrow gauge pipes 12 and 14 to a vertical duct 18 which opens at its upper end near the flame ports of the burner. Each main burner is fed through a pipe 3 formed at its inlet end with a Venturi 7 and is surrounded by a sheet metal hot plate 1 and a cast metal pan support 2.
