In a centrifugal clutch of the kind described in Specification 681,328 wherein both driving and driven halves 1, 15 operate centrifugal weights, the weights operated by the driven shaft 15 are formed in two parts 16a, 16b held by separate tie springs 17a, 17b, and the parts are responsive to different speeds so that there is no period of disengagement when these weights move outwardly or inwardly.
