Abstract
676,051. Fuel-injection pumps. KLOCKNERHUMBOLDT-DEUTZ AKT.-GES. July 3, 1950 [July 4, 1949], No. 16572/50. Class 102 (i) In a fuel-injection pump in which the delivery is varied by rotating the piston 1, the regulating rod 5 has a pin 6 which engages a slot 7 in the end of the piston. The piston is actuated by a cam 8 through a member 9 and the spring abutment 12 is shaped to partially enclose the enlarged end 4 of the piston and is also bent at 13 to engage pins 14 to prevent rotation of the abutment. The opening 15 in the abutment 12 is shaped similarly to the end 4 of the piston and so disposed that the piston can be rotated to disengage from the pin 6 and withdrawn through the opening 15.
