Abstract

668,432. Fuel injection pumps. C.A.V., Ltd Oct. 10, 1950 [Oct. 13, 1949], No. 26299/49: Class 102 (i) In a multi-cylinder fuel in jection pump whose delivery is regulated by rotating the plungers under the action of a governor or other controlling means, each plunger a carries a collar m which rotates the plunger through an annular resilient washer o secured tc either part and adapted tc engage a notch q on the other part so that if the plunger stalls the collar may continue to be rotated independently thereof. The notch is formed in the plunger head k and the resilient washer o is riveted to the collar.
