Abstract
521,060. Fuel injection pumps. L'ORANGE, R. Nov. 12, 1938, No. 32974. Convention date, Nov. 13, 1937. [Class 102 (i)] A delivery valve of a fuel injection pump comprises a valve member A having a seating portion at each end. As the pressure builds up in the pump chamber the valve moves from its lower seating to the upper, during which time an initial delivery takes place and the main delivery takes place through the throttle passages F. The valve may be loaded by a spring. Fig. 2 shows an arrangement wherein the throttle passage F is provided in the valve member A. Specification 515,231 is referred to.
