[Class 103(vi)] A bolster assembly for a car truck including friction mechanism for controlling the movements of the bolster comprises a bolster 12 resiliently supported in a bolster opening 23 and is frictionally restrained by wedges 16 acting against the vertical faces of the bolster and the surfaces 50 of the side frame 10 under the action of springs 18 seated on the underside of the side frame.
