[Class 80(i)] A belt tensioning device comprises a fixed member a having a cylindrical bore b, a bush or drum c rotatably mounted in said bore and carrying eccentrically a pulley i on a' spindle g, and a spring f acting between the drum c and the fixed member a, so as to tend to rotate the drum to move the pulley i against a belt B.
