Abstract

640,058. Printing-machines. SEMPERIT GUMMIWERKE AKT.-GES. Dec. 31. 1947, No. 34999. Convention date, March 26, 1941. [Class 100 (ii)] A printing machine has an endless band or chain forme carrier, and an impression cylinder co-operating with a straight stretch of the forme carrier. As shown, the impression cylinder 9, and two endless band inkers 6, 7 act on one of the vertical straight runs the band 1 where the flexible elastic formes 4 are flat; a cylinder 8 driven from one of the guide rollers 3 cooperates with the impression cylinder 9. 13 and 14 are printing couples, e.g. for further colours, and 21 is a cutting mechanism. In a modification two bands 1 are arranged one on each side of the cylinder 9, the inkers in this case being on the vertical straight runs remote therefrom.
