[Class 100 (ii)] Inking-apparatus.-An inking apparatus, particularly for a reciprocating bed machine, comprises a primary section which includes the ink-fountain, a secondary section receiving ink from the primary section and transferring it to the forme-inking rollers, means for moving the primary section away from the secondary section, and means for moving the primary and secondary sections together away from the forme-inking rollers. Elements on the primary section are driven directly from the press and not through the secondary section. The construction described is identical with that described in Specification 568,346.
