627,134. Printing-machines. SOLDANS, Ltd., and DOCKREE, B. R. May 13, 1947, No. 12933. [Class 100 (ii)] In a flat-bed impression cylinder printing press a carriage 3 carrying the impression cylinder is reciprocated along the bed 1 by a pair of endless chains 11 driven by sprocketwheels 10 mounted on a shaft 9 driven by a belt 12. Each chain carries a pin 13 mounted in plates 14 slidable in slots 7 in a bracket 6 fixed to the carriage 3.
