585,133. Bed reciprocating means. KELLY, W. M. Feb. 8, 1945, No. 3220. [Class 100 (ii)] In a flat-bed printing press, means for reciprocating the bed 13 includes a horizontal endless driver 27 guided by two sprockets 28, 29 or the like arranged centrally of the width of the press, a link 25 of substantially the same length as the bed, having one end,pivoted at 26 to the driver 27 and the other end pivoted at 24 to the bed at a point central of the width but at one end thereof, and means such as bevel gears 31, 32 connected to a drive shaft 15 of the press for actuating at least one of the sprockets 28, 29.
