Breaking-pieces for relieving strain. - A shaft 65 is driven from an overhead shaft (not shown) through chain and sprocket gearing, the sprocket 10 being loose on the shaft 65 and connected to a wheel 64 fast on the shaft 65 by a breakable link 63, so that the driving mechanism is disconnected if the driven shaft jams.
