Abstract

594,210. Jigging-conveyers. BLACK, W. June 29, 1945, No. 16587. [Class 78(i)] The driving element comprises a polygonal drum which is rotatable within, and makes contact with one face of a frame attached to the conveyer. Each side of the drum 7 is provided with a renewable hardened steel striker 9 which engages a hardened steel anvil 10 fixed to a frame 11. The lower part of the frame may be formed as an oil bath for the drum. The frame is slidably mounted in guides 12 and is connected by an arm 14 to a conveyer constructed as described in Specification 594,227.
