Abstract
638,261. Lamp-holders. EKCO-ENSIGN ELECTRIC, Ltd., and HUNT, J. R. June 26, 1948, No. 17242. [Class 38 (i)] A cap of a double-ended tubular lamp is earthed by engaging a spring plunger contact A extending through an opening from the back of a holder L to the front thereof. The contact is shown slidable in a hollow rivet Dl which together with a rivet D<2> holds the cover E of the holder in position. Rivet D<2> also secures a spring C to the holder which bears on the end of the contact and serves as the connection to a plate H on the holder base. The contact may be secured to or integral with the spring and the holder may be of the type described in Specification 595,951.
