561,616. Battery lamps. SULLAM, S. D. Jan. 18, 1943, No. 867. [Class 39 (ii)] A torch lamp, particularly adapted for use as a rear cycle lamp, has switching means G in an end cap and adapted to co-operate with the central contact of a battery, the lamp being in contact with the zinc electrode of the battery. Alternatives to the sliding switching means shown are described, employing a rotary spindle or a pivoted arm adapted to place alternatively a conducting or insulating surface in contact with the battery terminal.
