536,124. Electric battery lamps. SHELTON, H. Feb. 16, 1940, No. 2948. [Class 39 (ii)] An accumulator hand lamp consists of a casing formed with open lateral recesses 5 in which the terminals 6 of the accumulator arehoused and with shoulders with which screw bolts 8 engage to hold the handle 11 in place. A lamp 17 with switch is mounted on one or on each of the vertical arms of the handle; one terminal is connected by the external conductor 20 to the bolt 12 holding down the handle and the circuit is completed through the handle to the plate 14 on the lighting fitting connected to one contact thereof and through the other contact by means of the external lead 18 to the other terminal of the accumulator. A lamp may be provided at each side.
