Battery lamps. - A miners' electric lamp comprises a lower part a carrying an accumulator having poles g, h and an upper part b carrying a lamp k and charging contacts m, n, and lamp contacts i, j disposed in alternate sequence. The upper part may be rotated relatively to the lower part to switch out the lamp and, after releasing a magnetic lock, to connect the accumulator to the charging contacts which extend to the exterior.
