[Class 61 (ii)] A cable-splicing clamp comprises an operating screw 1 provided with a swivelling hook 3 at the lower end to engage the cable thimble, a cross-bar 4 threading on the screw, a sleeve 12 adapted to be supported in different positions on the screw by a nut 13, and two cable-engaging jaw arms 7 adjustably secured to the crossbar and adjustably connected to the sleeve 12 by links 11.
