Abstract

1,222,328. Cable clamps. TRACTEL S.A. 26 June, 1969 [27 June, 1968], No. 32275/69. Heading F2X. A pivoted cable-release lever 51 connected by a pin 56 and slot 55 and a pivoted link 53 with the normal actuating lever 20 for two cable-clamping units 8, 9 of a hoisting apparatus is prevented from moving by a lug 64 on a spring-loaded laterally slidable rod 59 until the latter is pressed to one side. Two hands of an operator are thus required to simultaneously release both clamping units.
