[Class 44] A clamp particularly for connecting alongitudinally movable operating rod d to pivoted arms in an arrangement for actuating roof lights or drawing blinds comprises members a,b hingedly connected by a hook f on one engaging an aperture g in the other, the members being shaped to present flat gripping faces to the rod. Tightening is effected by a bolt i passing freely through apertures in the free ends c<1> of the members, and receiving a sleeve nut k the reduced portion of which engages apertures in the arms l. A lock nut m, may be added and the gripping faces of members a, b may have serrations transverse to the length of rod d. A modification is described for use with a single arm l.
