[Class 44] In a band clip in which a screw operated claw j engages a rack member i as described in the parent Specification the rack is provided with a slot f or a hook in which one end of a strip or wire g is looped, the other end of the strip &c. g being looped to the frame c carrying the screw and claw. By selecting a suitable length of strip, the clip may be made adaptable for hose of any diameter. For very small diameters the arrangement shown in Fig. 5, in which one end of the strip g is looped to the inner end e or to an intermediate point of the screw housing may be adopted. Specification 447,963 is referred to.
