[Class 61 (ii).] A clamp for assembling boiler sections &c. comprises a rod a passed through the sections and held by loose washer c and nut b at one end and a washer e carrying dogs h at the other. When the nut b is tightened the dogs h grip the rod. Instead of the nut b a cam on a pivoted lever may be used.
