[Class 61 (ii)] A clamp comprises two similar jaw members A, B provided at the ends with pivoted outwardly or inwardly acting jaws K and connected together intermediate their length by an adjustable link F pivoted at G<1> to the member A and having a series of holes or notches F<2> adapted to be engaged by a pin H on the member B, the rear ends of the jaw members being connected by the operating screw D or by a right-and-left screw, or the screw and nut engagement may be of the releasable variety for quick adjustment. The jaw members may have a series of holes such as L, M for shifting the position of the link.
