[Class 102 (i)] A reciprocating pump for delivering measured quantities comprises a piston 3 actuated by a cam 7, lever 5 and rod 4, an oscillating valve 2 actuated by cam 20, rod 38 and rack 18 and a delivery pipe 1, having an outlet which is formed by a passage 12 in an oscillating valve 11 actuated by a cam 26 and rack 15. The end of the pipe 1 is formed with scraping edges 35 so that drip is prevented. Alternatively the valve 11 may be reciprocated.
