Abstract

593,993. Reciprocating pumps. PALM, G. A. V., and PALM, M. A. (trading as PALM BROS.). June 22, 1945, No. 15933. [Class 102 (i)] A drenching gun comprises a cylinder 1 which is supplied by gravity through the ball valve 4 with liquid from the container 30 and a handactuated piston 9 that houses the delivery valve 14. To administer the correct dose of drenching liquid the stroke of the pump is controlled by a graduated measuring bar 19 which registers with the stops 20, 21, by revolving the piston rod 9 through the arch-shaped guide 26.
