Abstract

1322061 Reciprocating pumps BONIFACE FRERES SA 1 July 1970 [1 July 1969] 32002/70 Heading F1A A pump, e.g. for viscous synthetic resins, comprises a piston 2 reciprocated in a cylinder 1 by an air motor 3, 4, 5, the suction stroke being limited by abutment of an axially adjustable, threaded collar 9 on the piston rod 8 with a fixed stop 12. The piston movement is indicated by a pointer 24 actuated by a rack 27 on collar 9. Inlet and delivery valves 18 and 19 are actuated by the air supply to the motor in synchronism with the inlet and delivery strokes of the pump. The air supply to the motor may be controlled by electric valves controlled by a timer or programme device.
