Abstract

1,017,124. Reciprocating pump. L. TYREE. Feb. 4, 1964 [Feb. 8, 1963], No. 4725/64. Heading F1A. The cylinder 15c of a pump is secured to a tube 14 which is mounted in a housing 111 and has machined surfaces for locating a cylinder sleeve 55, a piston guide bush 53 and a crosshead 28. The crosshead is reciprocated by rods 30 from a motor driven shaft and is connected by rods 34 to a yoke 33 on the piston 21 whereby the piston is actuated on its pressure stroke; the piston is returned by a spring 36. The piston has a plastics bearing ring 42.
