Abstract
1480002 Reciprocating pumps LEWA HERBERT OTT KG 22 Sept 1975 [1 Oct 1974] 38828/75 Heading F1A A pump having a substantially pulsation-free output comprises two pistons actuated out of phase by spring-loaded plungers 3, 3' reciprocated by cams 14, 14 offset by 180 degrees on a camshaft 11, the cams being shaped to provide a precompression zone adjacent the delivery zone, Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown). The point at which pre-compression commences is adjustable by stops 15, 15' which limit the plunger return strokes and may be manually adjustable, or automatically adjustable in accordance with output pressure or flow.
