[Class 61 (ii)] [Also in Group VII] A sewing-machine power table adapted to accommodate one of a number of sewing- machines for different uses and having different sized bed-plates comprises a table top 1 supporting an electric power transmitter 19 and having an opening 26 with rabbeted edges adapted to receive one insert 28 of a number of such inserts each with a cut-out space 34 of a size and shape to hold the sewing-machine 43 located therein in position to be operatively connected by a belt 21 to the power transmitter 19. The wooden insert 28 is secured in the opening 26 by cam latches 30 and the rectangular cut-out 34 therein has shoulders at the corners for supporting ear portions of an oilcontaining reservoir 38, the bed-plate of the sewing-machine 43 having depending walls 42 resting on a gasket 41 received in a groove 40 in the reservoir 38 and having a pair of tilting hinges 47 about which it can be swung upwardly. The reservoir 38 has depending lugs 48, 49 supporting the shaft 50 and lever 51 for operating the presser-bar lift lever 55. The insert 28 has mounted thereon a supporting plate 56 for a bobbin-winding attachment 61.
