[Class 86] A mixing machine of the type com prising a vertical spindle driven by ar electric motor mounted on a stand, is provided with a platform for the container which is pivoted to allow the container to be removed A platform 5 provided with a series of concentric recesses 10 for receiving various sizes of container is pivoted at one corner 6 to the stand 2, by means of a pivot pin 7. A friction spring washer 8 is provided for holding the platform in any position.
